Best Batter Today

Aaron Judge of the Yankees posted the best game score of Wednesday, a 90, as he went three for four with three home runs in a 9-1 win over the Royals. That pushed Judge up to fourth place in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Judge performed well since returning from the illjured list, with a .412 OBP and a .579 slugging percentage. His batting average is still down, however.

Mookie Betts of the Dodgers remained at the top of the list. He collected two singles in his first two plate appearances before the game was suspended with the Dodgers leading the Guardians 3-1. Julio Rodriguez of the Mariners ranks second after a single and a walk in a 5-4, ten inning, White Sox win.

Ronald Acuna Jr.of the Braves sits third after a two for four in a 7-0 win over the Mets. Acuna is now batting .335 with a .419 OBP.

Kyle Tucker of the Astros hit a sacrifice fly in five trips to the plate to drop to fifth place in the rankings. The Red Sox took the game 7-5 in ten innings. Boston gains on Houston, Seattle, and Toronto in the AL Wild Card race.
