Vladimir Guerrero Jr. beats the Yankees with a line drive single in the bottom of the tenth inning as Toronto takes game one of their series with New York 3-2. He hit the ball hard. It was the definition of a screaming line drive. It seemed to be past the infielders before they knew the ball was hit.

Aaron Judge goes one for three in the game with two walks, the second an intentional pass in the top of the tenth. The Yankees had men on first and second with two out. The Blue Jays brought on a left-handed pitcher, which I though was odd with Judge at the plate. They walked Judge to face Anthony Rizzo, and the LHB ground to first base, setting up the Toronto win.

The Blue Jays stay alive in the AL East race.
