The Padres send Joe Musgrove against the Brewers and Corbin Burnes in Milwaukee. Musgrove averages a bit over six innings a start as he brings a 1.86 ERA into the game. Burnes comes in with one more start, but the about the same average distance into the game. He owns a 1.95 ERA. That is going deep into the game in this environment. The main difference between the two is that Burnes allowed eight home runs to Musgrove’s 4.
The Mets and Dodgers play game two of their series with Chris Bassitt taking on Tyler Anderson. Bassitt’s walks are up a big compared to the previous two season, which may be why his ERA is a tick higher. Anderson comes into the game undefeated with a 6-0 record. He walked just six batters in 49 2/3 innings.
Enjoy!
