An infield hit by Jose Altuve and an error by Max Fried put the first two Astros batters on base in the bottom of the first. Fried tried to cover first on a grounder to Freddie Freeman, but he was late to the bag and Michael Brantley stepped on Fried’s ankle. The Astros have men on first and second with none out, and have not hit the ball out of the infield.

Update: A one out ground out moves the runners to second and third.
