The top five of the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings remain unchanged after game five of the World Series. Kyle Tucker of the Astros remains in fifth place after a double and two walks in the 9-5 victory over the Braves. Tucker does gain ground on fourth place Tyler O’Neill, and is now less than three points behind him. With O’Neill dropping 0.25 points a day due to inactivity, Tucker could catch him with a good game six on Tuesday.
The best game score of Sunday goes to Austin Riley of the Braves, three for four with a double. That was good for a score of 65, just beating out Carlos Correa of the Astros, three for five with a double and two RBI. Riley now stands 23rd on the list, Correa 34th. Eight players in the top 20 are still in action.
