Logan Webb of the Giants kept the Dodgers batters fooled Friday night as San Francisco takes game one of the NLDS 4-0. Webb pitched a Greg Maddux like game, using 92 pitching in 7 2/3 innings to walk none and strike out ten. Buster Posey hit a two-run homer in the first, and that was all the Giants would need.
Webb cut down his walk rate this season, and that success spilled over to this game.
