Ump Rooting for a No Hitter

Tyler Glasnow carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning against the Yankees. With one out, DJ LeMahieu grounded a ball deep into the shortstop hole. Wily Adames made a good throw, but LeMahieu clearly beat it out for a hit. The first base umpire called it an out. It was really a terrible call. Luckily, thanks to replay, an umpire getting caught up in the heat of the moment can’t make a difference.

The Rays lead the Yankees 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning.
