The Rays ride a four-game win streak, bringing their winning percentage to .676, the best in the American League and second only to the Dodgers in MLB. The Marlins, at 14-14, still hold a playoff slot in the NL.

Oakland continues their series in Houston as the Astros try to gain another game after sweeping a doubleheader on Saturday. Jesus Luzardo faces Framber Valdez. Luzardo pitched better as a starter, 3.67 ERA versus 4.05 in relief. Support has been all or nothing for Valdez this season, starting three games where the Astros scored at least ten runs and two games where they scored two runs or less.
