There’s Always Brandon Morrow

Brandon Morrow comes in for his fifth straight World Series game. George Springer greets him with a home run, making up for Springer’s mistake in the top of the inning. There was no doubt about that home run.

Alex Bregman follows with a single up the middle, and it looks like Morrow is a bit tired to pitch in this game.

The Dodgers and Astros are tied at eight in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Update: Jose Altuve lines a ball over the head of the leftfielder. The double scores Bregman from first, and the Astros lead the Dodgers 9-8.

Update: The storm here knocked my TV off for a minute, but it would appear Carlos Correa just hit another home run, and the Astros lead the Dodgers 11-8. For the Astros, the sun came out with Morrow.

Update: Ton Cingrani comes in to pitch for the Dodgers. The bases are empty and there are no outs as the Astros have scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh so far.

Update: Cingrani retires the three batters he faces. Neither of these teams have let up, so let’s see what the Dodgers offense has left. They trail the Astros 11-8 at the end of seven innings.
