Only Goes to Ten

The Blue Jays score three runs in the top of the ninth inning, but recent hero Alex Rios strikes out to end the game with the Jays one run short as the White Sox win 6-5. (Rios homered earlier, his fourth since the start of the winning streak.) It was a rare poor start for Roy Halladay as he allows five runs in six innings, despite walking just one while striking out eight.

Mark Buehrle pitched into the eighth allowing just one run. The White Sox will maintain their lead on Minnesota. The Twins are winning big late.

Update: The Twins win 7-1. They collect twelve hits, only one for extra bases.
