Pitching Takes a Holiday

After the Mets and Nationals play a back and forth 10-8 game Tuesday night, they return Wedensday for a similar contest. The Mets win 13-10, although they blew a 7-1 lead nearly blew an 11-7 lead. There's something wrong when Cristian Guzman hits two home runs in a game against a team. David Wright, who looks to me like the Mets MVP went four for four, just missing the cycle by a triple. He scored four and drove in three. He's close to passing his 220 runs+RBI total of 2007 with 213 after tonight's contest.
