Giants Single Minded

With two out in the first, the Giants put together three straight singles to take a 1-0 lead on the Cardinals and Jeff Suppan. So far, things are going well for the massive tie.

Update: Chris Duncan hits home run number 17 in the bottom of the first to tie the game at 1.

Update: Rolen hits a three-run homer off Hennessey. Brad came into the game with a 2.83 ERA on the road.

Update: Duncan goes deep again to extend the Cardinals lead to 6-1. The 25-year-old is having an excellent half season with 18 home runs and a .606 slugging percentage. I guess it's more than nepotism.

Update: Rolen adds a second home run as well as the Cardinals are crushing the Giants 13-2 in the seventh.
