Has nobody mentioned that until mid-way thru the 2003 season, Greene and Bay were on the same team? I wonder if the Padres brass is regretting the trade that sent Bay and Olver Perez to Pittsburgh for Brian Giles. At the time it seemed like a pretty good deal for San Diego, but can you imagine how good the Padres would be in a couple years if they had Bay, Greene and Perez? Some of you math guys should look into it.
And does anybody else wonder what the #@$! happened to Brian Giles? It's not just PETCO.
