Rain Delay
The start of the Tigers and White Sox game is being delayed by rain.
Update: It's 3 PM EDT and WGN just started the Cosby show, so it's going to be awhile. At least it's an episode without Lisa Bonet.
"Lisa Bonet ate no basil." -- Weird Al Yankovic
Update: Lisa Bonet made a guest appearance late in the show. Darn.
It's 3:30 PM EDT and the WGN crew says the rain is expected to stop in 45 minutes, then it will take at least 1/2 hour to prepare the field. So we're looking at a 4:45 PM EDT start at the earliest.

Any idea of a projected start time?
It's funny, Yankees and Red Sox had to play an evening make up game yesterday (So Boston would get the gate) and it went into extra innings. White Sox and Tigers have to play today and this game is getting delayed. It's almost like this season doesn't want to end. I predict a Chicago win, forcing a tiebreaker tomorrow.
i hope the sox getted smoked today. guillen can kiss my u know what...a couple of weeks ago they were 7-0 with danks on the mound cruising and he pulled him in the six and the pen promptly let the tigers tie the game up on a thames grand slam. with that win i would have been in my yahoo fantasy championship game and would have beat the other team as of yesterday...so go TIGRES!! the chi sox dont deserve the postseason.
