The Arizona Diamondbacks offense scored 13 runs today as they try to stay in the NL West race with a 13-4 win over Colorado. The top of the DBacks order devastated the Colorado pitching. The first four slots collected twelve hits and three walks in 24 plate appearances. The scored 10 of the 13 runs and drove in nine with six of their hits going for extra bases. Now they wait to see if the Giants can help them out. San Francisco and Los Angeles are still scoreless in the eighth.
