Timely Release
Just in time for the end of the season, a film about the Brewers, Diamondbacks and Mets.
You can add the Astros to the cast, at least for now. Only they could star in Choke and Whine, about how evil baseball made them play in Milwaukee.
Except they weren't playing in Milwaukee last night, when they lost tamely in front of literally dozens of roaring fans.
If the Astros had come out and complained that they didn't want to play the game because of Hurricane Ike and felt they should stay at home, rather than complaining about playing in Milwaukee it wouldn't have been perceived as whining.
I think they just chose the wrong thing to complain about. Either way - those two games should have never been played in Milwaukee.
The Astros aren't hitting, whether they're playing in Milwaukee, Miami, Sri Lanka, or the Klingon Empire.
Baseball did them a favor by giving them a permanent excuse.
I still think they should've moved the Cubs and Astros to Seattle and made everyone mad.
