The Trade Game
Traded players make a big impact in the Dodgers-Pirates game tonight. Manny Ramirez and Casey Blake pick up three hits each for the Dodgers, Blake slamming his 10th home run and missing the cycle by a double. Jeff Karstens allowed eleven hits and five runs (2 earned) in five innings of work as the Dodgers win 6-2. Los Angeles reduces their magic number to 8.
