A Rolling Ball Gathers no Moss
Brandon Moss, 0 for 4 on the night, hits the wall in the right-center alley in the bottom of the 12th. With two outs, Adam LaRoche was running and scores easily from first to defeat the Cardinals 7-6. St. Louis loses its fourth straight game, and falls five games back in the NL Wild Card race. At this point, it's tough to imagine the Cardinals making the playoffs.
