Strange Brawl

There's a highlight here of the Tuesday night brawl between the Rockies and Dodgers. It has to be the strangest start to a fight I've seen. Kemp strikes out on a pitch in the dirt and starts walking toward first base. He reaches out with the bat to knock the ball toward him, not even trying to run to first. Torrealba is going for the ball, makes contact with Kemp from behind, then picks up the ball and tags Matt in the back. Kemp turns around and shoves Torrealba, and the brawl ensues. It's the first time I've seen two players get in a fight over a strikeout.

The Rockies break their road losing streak as Jeff Francis finally pitches well this season, going seven shutout innings in a 3-0 victory. The Dodgers get a good start from Brad Penny, but give him no support.

I like Torrealba's body slam, though Kemp got to his feet and managed a pretty good takedown himself. These guys have a future in the WWE.
