Soriano Goes Down

Alfonso Soriano had to leave the game after the top of the first due to a strained calf muscle. The Cubs trail the Reds 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth.

This strain leads the Cobra Brigade to recall the strangest Cubs injuries.

Good... bring up Murton!

The Cubs TV announcers were actually talking about Murton last night, and how lucky the Cubs may be not to have traded him.

The guy can mash lefties, no doubt. And really, Soriano would not be a gigantic loss. He makes most of the money in the Milky Way Galaxy, but he's still just a corner outfielder with a career .840 OPS in a high-offense era.
