Young Again
Chris Young goes deep again, his fourth home run in his last four games. The solo shot is all that Brandon Webb has needed so far as the Diamondbacks lead the Braves 1-0 in the top of the seventh. Webb's only allowed two hits through six innings while picking up one of his own. Webb's working on his fifth straight game without allowing a run.
Update: Mark Reynolds almost hits the drum deep in left center in Atlanta. The Diamondbacks now lead 3-0 in the top of the eighth as Webb completed 40 consecutive scoreless innings. He has one inning in the game before he started the shutout streak.
Update: The home run by Reynolds was estimated at 453 feet, sixth longest in Turner Field history.
Update: Chris Young goes deep again in the top of the ninth, giving him five homers in four games and padding's Webb's lead to 4-0. He's now at 41 consecutive scoreless innings. If he finishes this game with a shutout, he'll need two more complete game shutouts to pass Hershiser.
