Another Boston Comeback?
The Red Sox are also mounting a comeback in Boston. Down 6-0, they scored three runs in the seventh and one in the eighth to close to within two. Then Crisp and Lugo, both hitting better, combined for a single and a double to make it a one run game. The tying run is now at second with one out.
Update: With Lugo at second Reyes struck out Pedroia and Youkilis. And now he's pitching to Ortiz.
Update: Ortiz walks on a full count. Reyes pitched him carefully, and that brings up Manny Ramirez. Cora pinch runs for David.
Update: Reyes strikes out Ramirez to end the inning, getting all three outs on Ks. Tampa Bay wins 6-5.

Manny has got to be one of the worst clutch hitters in history? when was the last time he gave the sox a walk off win?
August 12, 2006 vs Baltimore -- a single off Bruce Chen in the bottom of the 10th to get the 8-7 win for the Sox. But most surprisingly is that his last walkoff HR was September 10, 1996. For a guy who has 489 home runs in his career....to go more than 11 seasons without a walkoff home run seems pretty amazing(ly bad).
