Royals Whittle Back

The Kansas City Royals score one in the seventh, eighth and ninth to tie the Tigers and send the game into extra innings. Sisco and Greinke pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief so far. Greinke walked two but struck out three in two innings of work so far.

Update: Jamie Walker allows three home runs in the top of the eleventh to give Kansas City a four run lead over the Tigers. Detroit is blowing a great opportunity to stay in the division lead.

Update: The Tigers score two in the bottom of the 11th but it's not enough as KC takes the game 9-7. The Tigers and Twins remained tied for the AL Central lead, which for all intents and purposes puts the Tigers in the lead.
