Short Hits
The Phillies collected eight hits in three innings so far tonight against Ramon Ortiz, but only have two runs to show for it. Ortiz issued no walks, and kept all the hits to singles. The Phillies lead 2-1 in the bottom of the third.
Update: Zimmerman gets the first extra-base hit of the game, a double that drives in two and puts the Nationals up 3-2. Ryan drove in all three runs so far.
