Twins Pounding Rangers

The Rangers John Rheinecker gives up nine hits and eight runs in 1 2/3 innings before Buck Showalter puts him out of his misery. Punto, Cuddyer and Morneau each collected two hits in the first two innings. Texas has seven innings to try to close an 8-0 gap.

Update: Unfortunately for the Twins, the White Sox are doing something similar to Runelvys Hernandez. They've scored eight runs on eight hits and three homers over three innings to lead Kansas City 8-3.

Good news for both of them, the Rays are doing the same to the Tigers. Up 7-1 going into the 8th.
