Pedro's Back, Sort Of

That sure looked like Pedro Martinez on the mound in the bottom of the first. But he allowed four runs on four hits and a walk as Pedro blows the two-run lead the Mets offense gives him in the first inning. Most un-Pedrolike, he didn't strike out a batter.

Update: Pedro makes up for his poor first in the top of the second by hitting a double and scoring a run as the Mets tie the game at four. It's Pedro's first extra-base hit since 1997.

Pedro has only given up 1 hit since the first inning. Mets are up 5-4 going to the 6th inning.
