Rogers Rusty
Kenny Rogers should have stayed on the suspended list. Manny Ramirez hit a pitch well over the Green Monster seats for his 32nd home run of the year. That three run shot helped Boston to a 5-1 lead. Rogers only lasted five innings, throwing 88 pitches. His ERA is up to 2.99.
Rogers did strike out five and walk only one. But balls in play tended to fall in or go out of the park. If Kapler's homer had been called correctly, he would have allowed two dingers this evening.

Rogers had a good first half (or so) last year and tanked in the second half, too. Can't say I'm shocked as to that.
