Morgan Ensberg Profile

Richard Justice offers a portrait of Morgan Ensberg after his all-star snub:

As the men ransacked the rooms looking for valuables, Ensberg and the others lay on beds and floors with blankets covering their heads.

"They were going to shoot us," Ensberg said.

That's when he began inching out from under the blanket. He wanted the men to see the top of his head.

He wanted them to understand what they were going to do.

"I wanted them to know they weren't shooting blankets," he said.

What emerged from that incident is a very tough, very calm, very grateful player. It's a great story.

i liked reading the portriat of morgan ensberg article. i think he is the modle baseball player. he took a picture with my two friends and i and he was so nice and did not act like we were a burden. i love watching him play, he is a big kid out there having fun. and thats what it is all about. he deserves more attention for how well he is playing.
