Weak Arm Juan
Rafael Furcal just scored on a fly ball that any would have stopped most runners from even trying to tag up. Juan Pierre fielded the ball in shallow center field, about as shallow as you can go and still be in center field. He was behind the ball, had his momentum going toward the plate, but released a lollipop throw, and with Furcal's speed it wasn't even close. Juan should be embarassed about that play.

Bizarro All-Star Festivities contest:
Johnny Damon vs. Juan Pierre in a game of Long Toss. To make things interesting, a woman age 50 or over will be randomly selected to join the contest.
Longest throw wins. Should be interesting.
I bet Bernie Williams smokes them both. By "smokes" I mean 'loses badly.' That is if he could even hold the ball in the first place.
Bernie has always had a weak arm, and now with his shoulder problems it's just hard to watch him. But Damon and Juan both sport some pretty floppy spaghetti, too. A contest with those three would be pretty funny.
yeah, the only ML ballplayer they could beat is Jeff Bagwell.
my MAMA can throw harder and farther than those guys. Why do guys with such lousy arms get put in center?
Any of them could out-throw Shannon Stewart by at least 25 feet.
