Power and Speed
With two stolen bases tonight, Brian Roberts is in 2nd place in the AL with 9. Although a few people have had high numbers of home runs and stolen bases in a season, I wonder if anyone ever led the league in both? Especially since Ruth changed the game around 1920.

From a quick perusal of baseballreference.com...
Ty Cobb led MLB in almost everything in '09.
Chuck Klein led the NL in HR and SB in '32.
Honorable mention:
Mays led MLB in HR and was 2nd in NL in SB (by one) in '55, beginning a streak of seven years in which he never finished below 6th in the NL in either category.
Micky Mantle finished in the top 4 in both for three consecutive years: '57-'59.
Aaron tied for 1st in HR and was 2nd in SB in '63.
Bobby Bonds finished in the top 3 in both in '77.
Barry Bonds finished in the top 4 in both in '90 and '96.
Am I correct in my belief that Micky Mantle served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War?
