Cubs Win
The Cubs win in a blow out, 16-6. The Cubs had 25 batters earn their way on with a walk or a hit. They "only" managed 2 home runs. At least today, Chicago didn't miss Sosa and Alou.
Zambrano didn't exactly pitch well, although he did strike out eight in 4 2/3 innings. Of course, when you have a 9-2 lead, all you should be interested in is putting the ball over the plate.

Hey, who needs Sosa?? WE banged out all those hits, and even the relief corps got into the act when Cliff Bartosh had a single in the eighth for his first major league hit. I'm not sure what Dusty was thinking when he let Rusch and Bartosh hit for themselves, but it worked out all right. Guess he wanted to save the bench for Tuesday.
How can you not miss all those homers will see come Sept.
Get rid of those cry baby pitchers we have Prior & Wood and we might win a division
