Games of the Day

Two returns today for your enjoyment. Mark Prior comes off the DL just when the Cubs need him most. He'll pitch against Josh Fogg and the Pirates at Wrigley. And Alfonso Soriano returns to the Big Apple as the Rangers visit the Yankees. Be there, aloha.

Aloha? Who are you, Mr Hand? :)

And a nice ovation for Alfonso. Pity the Yankees had to trade him; I have read one thought that the Yankees could have kept Alfonso and gotten A-Rod but that would have really bad.

Who would the yanks have given up to get him?

Their farm system is totally spent... they really have nothing available for trades...

I cant see them getting A-Rod without giving up Soriano...

The rumor I read (either Foxsports or ESPN) was that the Rangers were so desparate to get out of the A-Rod contract that they'd have given him up just for cash.

And wow, six home runs and all you get is seven runs?!
