Kerry First, Not Last
Welcome to everyone coming to this site from Kausfiles. Do you know that there's never been a major league baseball player with the last name Kerry? But there have been seven with that first name? (Kausfiles has been sending readers to this post.)

This reminds me of the Jermaines (three of them in MLB history: Dye, Allensworth, and Clark).
During spring training in 2001 when I was getting Clark's autograph (to complete my Jermaine collection) I mentioned to him that if he made the team he would indeed be the 3rd.
He asked who the other two were and when I told him he mentioned how he and Dye went to the same high school (overlapping).
To my knowledge only John Edwards has the same name as an ex ballplayer. So he must be the best candidate.
