The Astros should allow a building project to take place, so that a new GM can build with younger players. Beltran and Kent should be allowed to move on, and bring up younger players, so the Astros might have a future. The cost of investing in these older players isn't worth the future of the Astros. Bagwell and Biggo can't break a glass window with their throwing arms anymore. Age is the problem in Houston.

Dave,
Great link to a great posting on the state of blogging. I hope you're sticking around!

A more hardcore Cubs Blog "The Uncoth Sloth" is taking a break too. So all my daily reads are going away.

i agree with farmer 100%

i have a feeling that mclean is trying to be george steinbrenner, making all the decisions, but not increasing the payroll.

it is REALLY hard to come up with an entry every day to blog, especially now that there's so little news....

so i respect yall who CAN do it every day...
