Zack’s Zeros

Zack Greinke pitched four innings so far without surrendering a hit. He walked Johnny Damon in the fourth, but erased him with a double play, so he faced the minimum.

The walk to Damon could have easily been a strikeout. The ptich tracker used by the Royals broadcast show in right on the lower inside corner. However, Brayan Pena, the catcher, was set up on the outside corner, and his moving the glove seemed to fool the umpire.

The Royals lead the Tigers 4-0 as Greinke comes out fro the fifth inning.

Update: Jhonny Peralta singles with one out in the fifth.
