The major leagues averaged 9.42 runs per game last week, up from 7.44 during the short All-Star week. That’s more in line with two weeks ago, which came in at 9.51. This last week was still lower than the first six weeks of the season, but with two out of the last three weeks close to those scoring levels, offense does appear to be bouncing back.
