The games on Sunday led to a shakeup of the top five in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Aaron Judge of the Yankees remains on top after going two for five with a double and a walk in the 12-9 Cardinals win. His pace puts him in line for 64 home runs on the season, with the most likely total 56. The probability of him hitting at least 62 home runs drops to 0.06. His teammate, DJ LeMahieu posts a three for six day with two doubles and a home run to move into fifth place on the list. He is hitting .357/.465/.560 in his last 21 games.

We are not done with that game, however. Paul Goldschmidt of the Cardinals went 0 for two with two walks and a sacrifice fly to hold second place. His teammate, Nolan Arenado, used a three for five afternoon with a double and home run to vault into third place. He’s hitting .356/.442/.733 over his last 12 games.

Freddie Freeman of the Dodgers holds fourth place as he goes two for four in a 4-0 win over the Padres.

The best game score of the day belongs to Nick Maton of the Phillies. The number nine hitter goes three for four with a double, home run, and hit by pitch in the 13-1 blow out of the Nationals. Maton is six for ten with double, triple, and two home runs in his four games with the Phillies this season.
