Paul Goldschmidt of the Cardinals stays atop the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. He goes one for five in a 11-4 blowout by the Mets. In the same game, Pete Alonso of the Mets collected two hits, including a home run, to move into fifth place.

Bryce Harper of the Phillies remained sidelined after his elbow injection and stays in second place.

Aaron Judge of the Yankees holds third place after an 0 for 4 in a 3-2 win over Baltimore. Ty France of the Mariners stands fourth as he goes three for five with a home run, Seattle beating Toronto 5-1.

The best game score of Wednesday goes to Jazz Chisholm Jr. of the Marlins. He goes two for two with a home run, triple, walk, sacrifice fly, and a hit by pitch for a score of 77. He’s now hitting .304/.346/.617 on the season and is back at the top of the Miami order. He just beat out one of his opponents, Keibert Ruiz of the Nationals, who goes three for three with two walks and two doubles in a 5-4, ten inning, Washington win.
