Cody Bellinger wins the NL MVP in a fairly close vote. He recieved 19 first place votes, ten second place votes, plus a fifth place vote. Christian Yelich received 18 second place votes for second place, Anthony Rendon took 24 third place votes, and Ketel Marte finished with 18 fourth place votes. So the BBWAA voters showed a very good consensus on the ranking of the players. Bellinger got off to a great start, and that and his defense carried him to the award.
