Erasing Walks

Martin Perez gets off to a bit of a rough start, walking the first two Yankees he faces. He makes up for it by getting Edwin Encarnacion to ground to Twins third baseman Luis Arraez, who starts an around the horn triple play. It was 29 years ago last Wednesday when the Twin turned two around the horn triple plays in one game.

Gary Gaetti was extremely good at starting that play.

The Twins then hit two home runs off CC Sabathia in the bottom of the first inning to take a 2-0 lead. I thought that might happen tonight.
