Even if the Cardinals win the remaining four games against the Cubs, they will need help to win the division. The Cubs are 11-4 against their long-time rivals this season, and that’s pretty much the distance between the teams. The Cardinals played the Cubs evenly otherwise, but could not win head-to-head. They will need quite a comeback to even make the playoffs at this point.
