I saw that Aaron Judge hit his 31st home run Friday night, but I didn’t realize StatCast could not track it. The pitch was high, the swing was high, and the ball nearly went out of Safeco Field. There is video at the link.
Judge’s probability of breaking a home run record went down quite a bit since the All-Star break. Maybe this will be the start of a new tear.

I’ve been wondering if his HR rate is going to drop, like with Reggie Jackson in ’69… 33 HR’s through 7/2/1969 (71 G), but only 14 after that (81 G).
