I am not getting excited about Bryce Harper‘s season so far, despite his .407/.521/.864 slash line through 16 games. He started off 2016 with strong numbers, .298/.391/.789 through 16 games, 12 of his 17 hits going for extra bases. Harper says he had a stamina issue in 2016 due to poor preparation in the off-season. He took this off-season more seriously, and he’s off to another good start. I will wait until the start of June to see if his workouts and added bulk made a difference.
