Flossing the Plaques

Cameron Martin looks at how the descriptions on Hall of Fame plaques changed over the years. I did not know that On-base Percentage was not mentioned on a plaque until Wade Boggs was inducted.

Although not true, I suspect the more famous the player, the less words needed to enshrine him. Thirty words for Babe Ruth should be fine. Phil Rizzuto needs a lot more.

The results of the election will stream live on MLB.com at 6 PM EST tonight.
