Two Cubs On

Bryzzo does the job in the top of the fourth. Kris Bryant singles to lead off the inning, then Anthony Rizzo gets hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second. Ben Zobrist grounds to Napoli, who throws high to Lindor. Lindor misses the bag, but tags Rizzo on the take out slide. The Cubs have runners on first and third with one out.

Update: Addison Russell hits a fly ball to medium centerfield. Rajai Davis’s throw is high, and Bryant slides under the tag. The Cubs take a 2-1 lead over the Indians.

Update: Another fly ball hurts Corey Kluber. He still has not struck out a batter.

Update: The Cubs are being very aggressive on the bases in this game. Zobrist moved up to second on the same fly ball.

Update: Willson Contreras hits a fly ball over Davis’s head to the wall in center for a double, and the Cubs lead the Indians 3-1. Kluber can’t strike out anyone, and the balls in play are hurting him this inning.

Update: A pop up ends the inning, but the Cubs own a 3-1 over the Indians in the middle of the fourth.

And Theo is only 42-3, do executives have to be retired too? I guess Clemente was younger, but that was a different situation, hopefully not to be repeated.
