The Van Pelt Cubs

The Cubs win game one of the NLCS 8-4. I’m starting to think this team is the Lucy Van Pelt of baseball. The Giants go into the ninth inning of game four of the NLDS leading 5-2. They are going to win and force the series back to Chicago! But the Cubs score four runs in the ninth inning, pulling the football away at the last second.

Then in game one of the NLCS, the Dodgers fight back in the eighth inning to tie the game at three. We can hit the Cubs bullpen! They are not invincible!

C’mon, Charlie Brown, kick the football!

The Cubs threaten in the bottom of the inning, but get into a situation where they have the bases loaded with two out, and the Cubs closer, Aroldis Chapman is due up. A pinch hitter drives Chapman from the game!

C’mon, Charlie Brown, I’ll hold the ball for you!

Miguel Montero falls behind 0-2. He looked terrible as he swung and missed on the second pitch.

This time I am going to kick the football!

Montero hits a grand slam.

AAUGH!

Maybe the Cubs are just evil.
