Javier Baez tries to get Denard Span by throwing as he spins his body on the head to toe axis. The initial call is out, but is over turned on replay. Still, it is an amazing throw, and likely gets most runners. It’s one reason the Cubs are so good on defense this season.

The Cubs and Giants are tied at one in the bottom of the third inning.
