Nats Top

The top of the order comes through for the Nationals again in the third. Trea Turner collects his second single, Jayson Werth his first, and Daniel Murphy hit a sacrifice fly to tie the game at two. Kershaw mowed through the bottom of the Nats order in the second, but the top four hitters have done a bit of damage.

Update: Kershaw gets an excuse me double, a half swing sending the ball down the leftfield line. When you put the ball in play, good things can happen. He’s on second with none out at the start of the bottom half of the third inning.

Update: Kershaw scores the go-ahead run on a two-out, Justin Turner double.

Update: The Dodgers load the bases with two out. Joc Pederson falls behind 1-2, then gets hit on the knee by a 2-2 pitch. Joe Ross is done, another starter going less than five innings. The Dodgers lead 4-2.

Update: Oliver Perez comes in and ends the inning with a grounder. The Dodgers are now 0 for 7 with the bases loaded in the series, only scoring on a hit by pitch.
