I just heard on the YES broadcast that Chris Sale was scratched from his Saturday night start due to the flu. Originally the crew thought the White Sox traded him, but then they heard about the illness. Stay tuned.
Update: It was neither illness nor trade:
Chicago White Sox ace Chris Sale was scratched from his start against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night after he was involved in what the team said was a “non-physical clubhouse incident.”
Sale, who was to attempt to become the majors’ first 15-game winner, was sent home from the park.
“The incident, which was non-physical in nature, currently is under further investigation by the club,” general manager Rick Hahn said in a statement. “The White Sox will have no additional comment until the investigation is completed.”
Again, stay tuned.
Update: It was an argument over throwback uniforms:
Source: "Sale asked that they not wear (throwbacks) on his day because they are uncomfortable. Things escalated when they wouldn't relent."

Maybe Sale wants to be traded.
Update: Sale cut up uniforms.
Sources say: Sale cut up throwbacks during batting practice. Upset that, in his view, PR and jersey sales were more important than winning.
