What Mike Should be Like

Michael Pineda walked one batter and struck out eight in six innings. He allowed one run and No-Run DMC lived up to their nickname as the Yankees beat the Twins 2-1. Given his outstanding walk and strikeout numbers for the season, this is the kind of game Pineda should be recording most times out. When batters do make contract, they hit the ball hard, with a high percentage of balls in play going for line drives, and a high percentage of fly balls going for home runs.

I wonder if some of the problems pitchers are having in the AL this year is due to the fact that HR/game are at a 20 year high and 2nd highest of all time in the AL. Is the ball juiced or what?
